Before reading the opinion, Braga thanked the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT)who, according to him, “sought to mitigate and arbitrate diffuse interests”, and to the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad (PT)who “was very important in the creation of the report”.
“We will approve a new technology, a new methodology”, stated Braga. “These are tools like no other in the world, which will form the backbone of the reform. The success of the reform will largely depend on the effectiveness of these systems during the testing period.”
