Road accident leaves at least 38 dead and 28 injured in Tanzania
At least 38 people died and 28 were injured on Saturday in Tanzania, in an accident between a bus and a minibus in the Kilimanjaro region, the presidency announced, who regretted the “tragic accident” on Sunday (29).
The collision occurred after a bus tire drove and the driver lost control of the vehicle in Sabasaba, according to the same source.
“In total, 38 people died in the accident,” wrote the presidency of Tanzania in a statement. “Thirty -six bodies remain unidentified” due to the “extension of wounds”. 28 people were also injured and six remain hospitalized, he added.
