Russia criticizes ‘biased conclusions’ about Malaysia Airlines plane crash
The Kremlin criticized on Tuesday (13) the “biased conclusions” of the report of the International Civil Aviation Organization (Icao), which held Russia for the fall of Malaysia Airlines MH17 in Ukraine in 2014, which left 298 dead.
The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777, which flew from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was hit in July 2014 by a Soviet BUK missile while flying over the Donbass region in East Ukraine, where Pro-Russian separatist rebels fought against Kiev’s army.
The Montreal-based Civil Aviation UN agency concluded on Monday that Russia “did not fulfill its obligations under international air law.”
