Senator calls for exclusion from Ciro Nogueira de CPI for traveling in an investigated jet

Senator Soraya Thronicke (Somos-MS), rapporteur of the Bets CPI, asked Senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI) to be excluded from the board. The reason is an alleged trip of the parliamentarian in a jet that belongs to a businessman appointed owner of a bookmaker -targeted bookmark. Sought, Ciro did not speak up.

According to the justification of the request submitted by Senator Soraya Thronicke (Somos-MS), who is rapporteur of the CPI, Jon Vlogs was ahead of a “massive” Blaze promotion campaign. Businessman Jorge Barbosa Dias, owner of the Marjosports Betting House, also missed the session. The board will request the coercive conduct of the two.

Senator Dr. Hiran (PP-RO), president of the CPI, commented on the absences.

“These absences are not a mere inconvenience, they are an act of contempt, this obstructs our research capacity. I will request appropriate measures to the Senate law, including coercive driving. These absences make our work difficult, we want to investigate Blaze, this company that co -opted influencers and, like other companies, shook people in a cycle of addiction,” he said.

The collegiate tries to understand the role of influencers in the commercial success of Bets and how their contracts work.

“The presence is crucial to clarify the responsibility of digital influencers in the creation and promotion of betting platforms, as well as to investigate the potential ethical conflicts involved in these practices,” Soraya justifies in his application.

At 22, Jon Vlogs started his career on social networks at the age of 16. Born in Macaé, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, he spent part of his childhood in the United States, where he also completed his studies. It was abroad that the content creator published his first video of great repercussion, in which he reported his school routine. Initially, the videos had as their main objective to share their daily lives with family, but quickly reached a wider audience.

In 2024, as a betting influencer, he declared public support to businessman Pablo Marçal during the municipal elections of São Paulo.
