Countries record snowfall this Sunday (5). According to the Met Office, the United Kingdom’s Meteorological Service, several regions of England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland are in a state of alert. In Germany, there are records of snow and black ice.
Flights are canceled in Germany and the United Kingdom. Manchester airport, the third largest in the United Kingdom, Liverpool and Newcastle were closed due to the storms. Employees are trying to clear the runways to allow flights and takeoffs, according to the Civil Aviation Authority.
