Son of CIA agent was killed in Ukraine while fighting for Russia
Months later, Michael was killed in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine. His father, Larry Gloss, confirmed the news on Friday (25), a year after the incident. Michael’s family was informed by Russian authorities about his death.
The young man died of a “huge blood loss” in an artillery bombing. The information is from his death certificate, read by his father to the American newspaper The Washington Post. “He died running to help a injured comrors, trying to protect him. That was a classic Michael,” he added.
Michael was buried eight months later. Michael’s funeral was held in the United States on December 21, 2024.
In addition to the high position of his mother, Juliane Gallina Gloss, in Cia, Michael’s father was a Navy veteran. The young man’s participation in the war in defense of Russia is considered unusual. Family members mourn their struggle alongside the Russians.
At no time did he suggest or we suspect he would join the army. Never. I pray that he didn’t hurt anyone
