Tabata says that uncertainty in Haddad’s ticket hinders campaign in São Paulo

Federal deputy Tabata Amaral (PSB) pressed for a definition on the ticket of PT member Fernando Haddad in São Paulo, this Friday (22), under the argument that the delay hinders the planning of the campaign in the state.

— This delay is quite disruptive to day-to-day politics. It’s a respectful conversation, and I’ve been arguing that it’s up to everyone, that they just have to talk to make things right. The most important thing is that we understand that we have a difficult election and we cannot run the risk of politics losing time to what happens on the street — he said.

Tabata participated in a panel alongside Marina Silva (Rede), former Minister of the Environment in the Lula government, at an event promoted by Grupo Esfera, in Guarujá (SP). The speech, however, took place in an interview with journalists after the debate. According to her, the concern has already been raised with the PT before, and an aspect that reinforces this point would be that the group led by governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) reached a consensus and has been able to clearly position itself to the population since then.

Marina, who is interested in running for the Senate, did not respond directly to the deputy’s statement, one of those responsible for the articulation around Simone Tebet (PSB), former Minister of Planning, who changed parties and electoral domicile before the deadline required by the Court to run in October. The impasse occurs due to the second wave, for which former governor Márcio França (PSB) is trying to position himself. PSOL, Rede and PDT support the environmentalist.

— We are making an effort to complete the work. From the point of view of the debate, it is set – said Marina. — We have already made a lot of progress, we have an excellent candidate for state government, a definition from our pre-candidate Simone Tebet, and we are going to take it up for discussion, because we understand that we should also be on the majority ticket.

Marina also stated that she was a supporter of the possibility of cattle rancher Teresa Vendramini, former president of the Brazilian Rural Society, being the candidate for vice-governor alongside Haddad, as she is a woman “who has a modern vision and is committed to the sector”. But, apparently, it should only contribute to the elaboration of the government’s plan in the area of ​​agriculture.
