Tariff: Government regulates credit to support affected; Announces additional R $ 10
BRASILIA (Reuters)-The president of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), Aloizio Mercadante, said on Friday that in addition to the $ 30 billion in credit already announced to support companies affected by the US fare over Brazilian products, the funding bank will direct $ 10 billion complementary in financing.
According to him, the plan will be prioritized to offer credit encouraged to companies that have impacting at least 5% of revenues from US -tariff exports.
At a press conference on the plan, Mercadante also said that BNDES will coordinate the implementation of credit operations in support of the sectors and estimated a total of $ 22.5 billion in guarantees for micro, small and medium enterprises.
