Th jeóias praised Pezão, head of the CV, after invitation to the trafficker party

Investigation of the Federal Police shows that the now former state deputy Tiego Raimundo dos Santos Silva, Th Jóias, was more than a political arm of the Red Command (CV). He appears as a member of the faction’s “leadership core”, as well as being accused of intermediating the purchase and sale of weapons and being one of the gang’s financial operators. In an exchange of messages intercepted by the agents, the former deputy praises the head of the CV in the German complex, Luciano Martiniano da Silva, Pezão.

The conversation took place in April 2024. According to the PF, TH exchanged messages with Gabriel Dias de Oliveira, the dump’s Indian, named as Pezão’s right -hand man trafficker, days after having a exchange rate switching $ 4 million for dollars for trafficking. Indian sends the print of a conversation that would be between him and Pezão, where the CV chief trafficker asks to invite Th jewelry to a party the next day.

According to the document in which the arrests are decreed by the Federal Court, TH participated in “Multiple Exchange Operations” made with drug trafficking money. The PF learned that in April last year, Th Jóias was called by a dump Indian to make the exchange of $ 5 million to dollars. Image obtained by the agents shows the accused lying in a bed covered by the notes. The intercepted dialogues confirm, according to the agents, that the money belonged to the head of CV Pezão. Advisor of the deputy, Luiz Eduardo Cunha Gonçalves, Dudu, took R $ 1.02 million to exchange in a gearbox in Copacabana, South Zone of Rio. The rest got Th, who took to his home in Barra da Tijuca. Profit of R $ 50 thousand

TH would have returned the money in three meetings with traffickers, totaling $ 1 million, value compatible with conversion at the time. According to PF, for the operation, he profited $ 50,000. At the time, Th was not a deputy yet – he took over a chair at the Rio Legislative Assembly in June and lost office on Wednesday, shortly after being arrested.

A month later, TH would have participated in another exchange operation for trafficking, but the service generated a conflict with the faction. The PF states that the former deputy received another $ 4 million to exchange for dollars, but he would not have returned the total amount. Part of the money was used by TH and its advisor Luiz Eduardo to fund a tea-show organized by Ourives.

Money laundering

“It was possible to identify evidence of money laundering, essential for the maintenance and expansion of the criminal organization. Those investigated, routinely, transact hundreds of thousands and even millions of reais in cash to avoid the financial control system and whiten crime earnings,” says the report.

Th and Luiz Eduardo were arrested last Wednesday, but Pezão was not located by federal agents. In addition to them, the operation arrested federal delegate Gustavo Stteel, accused of providing confidential information to traffickers. The agents had access to an exchange of messages from February 17 last year where Th ends to the following messages: “Take me to Sapucaí” and “takes your brother.” Asked about who referred to, Th answered that the “brother” would be a federal delegate. For the PF, the ticket would be for Gustavo Stteel.

According to the investigation, Stteel used the position to help criminals, taking advantage of the ease of access to the corporation’s internal systems. He would have improperly accessed the PF database to obtain information about inquiries involving Dudu and Indian. The conduct was confirmed through internal audit.

But for the investigators, Stteel was not the only informant Th Jeias had to obtain sensitive police information. Former consumer protection Alessandro Pitombeira Carracena, appointed as a member of the faction’s political core, would also have leaked information and acted in favor of traffickers.

Investigators say that on January 31 last year, Carracena warned the group of a police operation that would take place that day. In a conversation intercepted by the PF between Indian and Th, the first reassures the fellow informing that it is “everything in peace here.” The goldsmith then replies, “Carracena called me early. He hit everything he said.”

The investigation also points out that in one of the operations leaked by Carracena, Pezão – one of Rio’s most sought after traffickers – and Indian managed to escape the police action.

“Carracena symbolizes the legal cell of criminal association and, on certain occasions, performs the function of public relations, due to its infiltration into the public power. Its function in the Red Command is to act as a political arm alongside Th Jeias. It should be noted that Carracena received undue advantages to provide information on police operations in areas commanded by the Red Command,” says PF report.

Political articulator of the group, Carracena would still have sought to interfere, at the request of the Red Command, to remove the unit from the Shock Battalion (BPCHQ) installed inside the Blue Gardênia, in the West Zone of Rio. The prominent company lasted a year and a month. In June 2024, the unit moved to the command of the 18th BPM (Jacarepaguá). In a statement, the Military Police informs that the transfer of the shock battalion company to the 18th BPM “was based solely on technical and administrative issues.”

The Federal Police also found during the investigation a video in which Th Jóias shows several marijuana bags. Then he says it’s 200 pounds. But on the other side was Indian who didn’t like the product: “This is not good to sell.”

The gang still supported a group of military police officers who worked as trafficking security. PM Rodrigo da Costa Oliveira is appointed as the “head of security”, responsible for escort, transportation and personal security missions.

Sought, the defenses of the investigated did not return or were not found. On Thursday, the Rio Court of Justice upheld the arrest of Th Jewels and the other 14 prisoners in the operation.
