But only one of these vacancies is open to the public.

“For an epic year, you’re going to travel the world – think of Milan, Tokyo, Colombia, Dubai, Costa Rica – and more, capturing the climate, culture and people behind each Starbucks experience,” says the vacancy description.

The coffee chain, valued at $ 111 billion, released the opportunity at the end of last month, with the aim of hiring two coffee makers for next year. Interested parties should hurry: registrations run until June 14 and the expectation is for a strong competition for the vacancy.

The annual salary ranges from $ 80,000 to $ 136,000, plus bonuses. As the Global Coffee Creators will visit between 10 and 15 Starbucks stores around the world – with all expenses paid by the coffee giant – it’s a chance to explore the world with comfort and creativity. There are some prerequisites for the vacancy, but the main thing is to know how to convey the right vibe.

“Your mission? Helping to show the world why Starbucks coffee is different,” says the announcement. “If you tell stories, travel and coffee feed your soul, that’s the job of dreams.”

To become a Global Coffee Creator of Starbucks, you don’t have to have a master’s degree or thousands of followers on social networks.

The company only requires a few basic requirements: being 18 years old, complete high school or equivalent experience – no prior professional experience or university diploma is required. You also need to be resident in the US and have a valid passport throughout the work period: August 2025 to July 2026.

The strongest candidates also need to have a little fitness. Traveling internationally requires disposition – whether walking through the streets of Milan or exploring the landscapes of Costa Rica. You need to be able to lower, get up and load content production equipment during travel throughout the year. It is also essential to understand Tiktok’s trends and know how to adapt quickly.

The announcement highlights some differentials: talent for dealing with different people and cultures, the ability to work independently and to create their own routine.

The candidate needs to feel comfortable in front of cameras and have the ability to tell stories, capturing the local culture and community of Starbucks stores around the world. In the technical aspect, it is desirable familiarity with content creation for Tiktok and Instagram, as well as editing tools such as Photoshop, Indesign, Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
