Thousands of protesters go to the streets in NY against Trump politics
At least 200 cities are expected to organize acts this Easter weekend in a total of 700 events, according to the Fifty Fifty One website.
In summoning the crowd to march to Central Park, the organizers appealed so that protesters do not “give in to fear.” The idea is to permanently put activists, human rights groups and the community more vulnerable to be heard.
The act had hundreds of American flags and posters that reject the idea of the US having a “king” in an allusion to Trump.
“I can’t stay home in the face of what’s going on,” said 83 -year -old Mary Collins in a wheelchair.
An important segment of the demonstration also referred to deportation by mistake of an immigrant from El Salvador. “What we are warning is that this can happen to any of us,” said David, an activist.
