Tourist films his own death in bear attack after feeding puppies

An Italian tourist filmed his own death by being attacked by a bear after offering her puppies and taking a selfie with the animal during a walk in Romania.

What happened

Rescue teams found the images of the attack on the victim’s cell phone. “Here is the Bear, how beautiful, is coming towards me,” says Italian Omar Farnang Zin, 48, in the video, before being attacked and dragged for about 40 meters. The information is from Antena 1, a local TV. On social networks, there are several videos of him recording wild animals closely.

Attack occurred after the tourist offers food to the bears’ puppies. He was strolling through the mountains of the carpathies on the transfagarasan road. Signs warned that feeding animals was prohibited.
