Tourists hospitalized after drinking cocktails at Fiji resort

Seven tourists were hospitalized after drinking cocktails at a resort in Fiji. Poisoning is suspected. Information was released by the governments of Fiji and Australia this Monday (16).

What happened

According to Reuters, the seven tourists felt unwell after drinking cocktails at Warwick Fiji. “This is an extremely isolated incident, affecting only these seven guests at a specific bar within the resort,” the Fijian government said.

The seven people experienced nausea, vomiting and neurological symptoms, according to Fiji’s Ministry of Health. They are between the ages of 18 and 56 and four of them are from Australia, CNN reported.
