Trump complains about choice of photo for Time magazine cover
Even though the content of the report was good, Trump found a way to complain about the press and spared no criticism of the photo
Even with a report whose content is positive for President Donald Trump, talking about his work towards the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Time magazine did not please the president. The reason is the photo chosen for the cover, which Trump found “very strange”.
The President of the United States made a post on his social network yesterday, Truth Social, commenting on Time magazine’s choice to put him on the cover of this week’s edition.
“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good article about me, but the photo might be the worst ever,” he wrote.
Trump detailed why the choice was displeased:
“They ‘disappeared’ with my hair and then put something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Very weird!”
And the criticism didn’t stop there. With a tone of distrust towards the press that is his trademark, the president added:
“I’ve never liked taking photos from low angles, but this is a really bad photo and deserves to be criticized. What are they doing and why?”
Report praises Trump’s performance in the Middle East
The Time magazine report has the cover headline “Your Triumph”, in reference to Donald Trump’s efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Inside, the title is “How the Trump administration sealed the Gaza ceasefire deal.”
The article, published on the 10th, brings a positive view of Trump’s performance and was approved by the president himself, who considered it “relatively good”.
At the beginning, the reporter highlights the president’s determination to achieve a ceasefire in the region and his negotiation strategy. The report then reports on the entire process of developing and approving the peace plan.
According to Time, the agreement could become a landmark achievement of Donald Trump’s second term.
History of problems with the press
Trump’s criticism of the magazine’s cover is not an isolated case. Since entering politics, Donald Trump and his administrations have been involved in a series of fights with the press.
The most recent of these were changes to the rules for journalists covering the Pentagon, the United States Department of Defense. Reporters and media organizations accuse the changes of curtailing press freedom.

Another example was the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s show. Although it cannot be said that the removal from the air was a direct order from Trump, the president publicly celebrated the suspension.
Also this year, the president removed the Associated Press from the White House press pool. This happened because the agency refused to adopt the name Gulf of America for the Gulf of Mexico.
The list of conflicts also includes a series of Trump lawsuits against press outlets, including ABC, Paramount Global, the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
