Trump mourns Carter’s death and says Democrat loved the USA: ‘Good man’

The president-elect of the USA, Donald Trump, mourned the death of Jimmy Carter, this Sunday (29), at the age of 100.

What happened

Trump called Jimmy Carter a “truly good” man. Even though he said he disagreed with the Democrat, he stated that Carter was committed to improving the United States and respected him for that.

President Jimmy Carter died at 100 years old. Although I vehemently disagreed with him philosophically and politically, I also realized that he truly loved and respected our country and everything it stands for. He worked hard to make America a better place and for that I give him the utmost respect. He was a truly good man and will of course be greatly missed. He also had a lot of consequences, far more than most presidents, after leaving the Oval Office. Warmest condolences from me and Melania to your wonderful family.
