Trump opens window to Brazil negotiating tariff, says Pedro Ros
At this point the market is welcomed, but the Brazilian market needs to position itself, the president, the Central Bank, everyone needs to communicate with the United States so that we get there at a common point and lower this level of tension there.

The CEO points out that oil, agribusiness, steel, aluminum and technology are at the center of negotiations and can be used as assets by Brazil.
Oil, without a doubt, is something that can be an interesting negotiation, because we see that Trump has maintained an exemption in oil tariffs and this may come to a negotiation of perhaps to tariff or not target. Within agribusiness we have soy, meat, sugar, ethanol, which can be something that can get strong in the negotiation as well. We also see steel and aluminum, so it can be something that also has a possibility. In the technology and energy transition market also has a possibility. So, I think they will use the cards on the table of various sectors now. In the end, in my view, I believe things will end up calming down and they will end up following a compromise that is good between the United States and Brazil.

Lula returns from the trip to New York with his luggage full of victories, the most notable of them, the chemistry that rolled with Donald Trump. At a press conference, Lula was open to dialogue, the discussion of rare lands that may interest Americans and even the face -to -face meeting with Trump. There is no date for the meeting and Lula did not want to increase the expectations of journalists.
