Tiktok’s future in the US is hazy. Earlier this month, Trump extended until September 17 the deadline for Bytedance, based in China, to arrange for Tiktok’s US assets, despite a law that determined the sale or closure of the company without significant progress. The president has changed the deadline three times.

Commercial tension involving rates suspended combined between the two countries. A deal that was designed to transform US Tiktok operations into a new US-based and US-operated US-based company, it was suspended after Trump advertisements for high Chinese products. At the time, China indicated that it would not approve the arrangement.
