Trump tells Zelensky that Putin wants end of the war and proposes a meeting of the three

Trump said he will call Putin after meeting the Ukrainian. He said he will try the trilateral agreement to cease the war and that the Russian President is expecting a call after today’s meeting with European leaders.

Despite being confident with a possible agreement, Trump admits that he may not succeed with the mission. However, after meeting the Russian leader, the Republican believes Putin also wants the end of the conflict.

The Ukrainian President was received by Trump at the White House of Todo Preto jacket – unlike the military sports attire with which he usually appears to the press. After being questioned by journalists if Zelensky’s new costumes were pleasing him, Trump smiled and called “fabulous.”

The Ukrainian President joked with the reporter who last questioned his clothes: “I changed clothes but you have the same jacket.” At the last meeting between the two, the president treated Zelensky’s robes ironic: “Wow, you’re well dressed. He’s all tidy today.” Before today’s meeting, the US questioned Ukraine if the president would use a jacket. He ended up wearing, but did not put the traditional tie.

European leaders also gather in the White House. Names such as Ursula Von Der Leyen, President of the European Commission, Mark Rutter, NATO Secretary-Rutter, as well as leaders of the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Finland are present at the White House.
