Unanimously, STF validates arrests of Bolsonaro and 6 other convicts
Unanimously, the ministers of the First Panel of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) decided this Tuesday (25) to endorse the decisions of Minister Alexandre de Moraes that determined the execution of the convictions of former president Jair Bolsonaro and six other defendants in the coup plot.
After signing the arrest warrants, Moraes asked for a virtual session to be called to judge the case.

The board formed a score of 4 votes to 0 to maintain the prisons. In addition to Moraes, the votes were cast by ministers Flávio Dino, Cristiano Zanin and Cármen Lúcia.
Only the four ministers voted. Last month, minister Luiz Fux left the collegiate after voting for Bolsonaro’s acquittal and went to the Second Panel of the Court.
Earlier, the final judgment of the case was recognized by Alexandre de Moraes after the deadline for presenting new appeals, which ended yesterday (24). The minister rejected the appeals and ordered the start of the sentences.
On the 14th of this month, unanimously, the First Panel of the Court rejected the first appeal by Bolsonaro and the other defendants.
