An attack by United States forces on Thursday (16) against a vessel in the Caribbean left survivors, the first time this has happened since the beginning of the campaign against alleged Venezuelan drug trafficking boats, the American press reported.

Washington maintains several warships in the Caribbean Sea and, in recent weeks, carried out attacks against vessels allegedly dedicated to drug trafficking, which killed at least 27 people.

The most recent attack, on Thursday, left several survivors on board, according to information from CBS, CNN and NBC, which cited US government sources.
