US wants to coordinate response to Iran with Israel, says White House
Pentagon says attack was twice as bad as Iranian drone attack in April. At the time, Iran launched 170 drones, 30 cruise missiles and 120 ballistic missiles, but most of them were intercepted. No deaths were recorded.
Biden and Kamala had a meeting about attacks. The White House announced that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were “monitoring the Iranian attack on Israel” and that the Democrat “directed United States military aid to help defend Israel against the attacks and shoot down missiles.”
In response, Iraqi militias said they would make the United States a target in the event of an attack on Iran. “If the Americans take hostile action against Iran or if the Zionist enemy uses Iraqi airspace to bomb Iranian territory, all American bases and interests in Iraq and the region will be a target for us,” published the Organ of Coordination of the Iraqi Resistance movement.
Iranian government attacked Israel and claimed retaliation
Iran launched missiles into Israeli territory. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed that it fired dozens of missiles at Israel this Tuesday (1st) in response to the deaths of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders.
The attacks would have occurred in two waves, with a ten-minute difference between the two. The Iranians warned that this would be just the first wave of attacks and would be in response to the assassinations of the leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas.
