USA X Europe: Business War puts at risk $ 9.5 trillion, says study
The American Chamber of Commerce for the European Union (AMcham EU) states that there are a number of risks for 2025, including unequal growth rates between Europe and the US, competitive pressures from China and the prospect of a transatlantic trade war in a new study published on Monday (17).
In the document, AMcham projects that the commercial conflict puts $ 9.5 trillion at risk, over $ 8.7 trillion last year.
“For companies on both sides, the transatlantic economy is more than just a source of profit. It is a common geoeconomic basis that gives them an advantage in a fiercely competitive world,” explains CEO, Malte Lohan, highlighting the risks of deteriorating the relationship between US and EU.
