Airport track was closed, but was reopened. The Federal Aviation Administration of Canada blocked all Parson International Airport landings and takeoffs for a few hours due to the “aircraft emergency”.
Airport states that accident occurred during plane landing. In an X (former Twitter) publication, Pearson International Airport published: “Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew have been accounted for.”

Airport was covered in snow this morning. Earlier, the airport’s official account published that employees were cleaning the track after a snowstorm in Toronto. Yesterday, some flights were delayed due to track conditions. It is not yet known if snow had something to do with the Delta plane crash.
Flight departed from Minneapolis in Minnesota, United States. The route between the American city and Toronto takes about 1h28 minutes, and the aircraft, a Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR, arrived at 1:26, according to FlightAdar24.
