When defending amnesty against tariffs, entrepreneurs raffle cheap Brazil

Given this, there is entrepreneur defending the approval of amnesty in the National Congress to resolve the tariff. Which, in practice, means selling the sovereignty of Brazil.

The difficulty imposed by Trump’s sanctions is clear. And the government needs to keep acting to open channels. But genuflection is not the solution.

After the American applies the 50% tariff over Brazilian products, creating unemployment and closing companies, and catches Brazilian institutions with their magnitsky, the federal government and the responsible opposition tried to negotiate, but rejected any possibility of external interference in national matters.

With this, the doors remain closed to a solution. After all, the main issue, according to the American himself, put in a letter, is free Bolsonaro (and interference in the Brazilian elections next year) and not Lula’s management.

Only the fact that a foreign power requires that people are not judged for serious crimes of which they are accused of proven material is, anywhere that is considered independent, reason for institutions and society ensure that the trial happens. And that if punishments come, they are fulfilled. The opposite, an amnesty, sounds guinea pig and surrender.

And Trump is the kind that, when it smells of blood, bites again. That is, to give in is to pass the receipt that, if we press, we deliver.
