‘Woman Adrenaline’ Dies in Parachute Accident in Spain
Known as “Adrenaline Woman”, Spanish sportsman and star Marta Jiménez died yesterday at the age of 35, after having an accident during a parachute leap in Spain, according to international press and confirmed by friends.
What happened
Spanish TV program collaborator El Hormiguero died after free fall jump. According to the newspaper La Nacion, the accident occurred in the mountainous region of Punta Calva, in the municipality of Huesca, Spain, where Martha practiced base heels – a modality of radical sport which consists of jumping high heights with the aid of parachutes.
Parachades would have failed after the jump. As determined by La Nacion next to the local Civil Guard, the equipment failed to open and Marta, falling into the ground, suffered very serious injuries and died. When locating the sportsman, the doctors found that she no longer had vital signs. Then his body was taken to the Huesca Forensic Physician Institute.
