Lula sanctions law that makes national policy Aldir Blanc permanent

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) sanctioned in an extra edition of Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) From Friday, 2, the Bill (PL) that makes the National Policy Aldir Blanc permanent and allocates R $ 15 billion to states and municipalities to promote local cultures. According to the Planalto Palace, the law allows this amount provided for in Aldir Blanc to be passed on in a longer period than the current one.

Originally, it would be $ 3 billion per year for five exercises (2023 to 2027). After the transfer of this amount, Aldir Blanc is now funded by resources defined in each budget law. “With this, politics becomes permanent,” said the government.

The text approved by the Congress, now sanctioned by Lula, also incorporated the text of Provisional Measure 1,280/2024, which extends until December 31, 2029 the deadline for the use of tax benefits of the Special Taxation Regime for the development of film display activity (Recine). Before, the deadline would end at the end of 2025.
