US Air Force plane in Brazil was on ‘diplomatic mission’

The US Air Force plane that landed yesterday in Porto Alegre and in São Paulo served the “diplomatic mission”, according to the country’s embassy in Brazil.

What happened

Aircraft was occupied by diplomats. The Boeing 757 aircraft landed at Salgado Filho Airport in Porto Alegre in the late afternoon yesterday. Then he went to Guarulhos airport. In response to Facto News, the US Embassy press office said the plane “offered logistical support to the country’s diplomatic mission” and that the arrival “was authorized by the competent Brazilian authorities.”
