Venezuela Attorney General Tarek William Saab asked on Friday that the UN investigates what he qualified as “Crimes against Humanity” committed by the United States in the Caribbean by firing missiles against speedboats that, according to Washington, transported drugs.

Washington sent a fleet of eight ships and a nuclear propulsion submarine to the Caribbean waters to combat drug trafficking and, since early September, has eliminated three vessels that allegedly trafficked, with a 14 -dead balance, according to US President Donald Trump.

“The use of nuclear missiles and weapons to assassinate defenseless fishermen in a small speedboat are crimes against humanity that should be investigated by the UN,” Saab said, quoted in a press release in his attorney.
