'He didn't paint chemistry, he painted petrochemical industry'

President Lula (PT) stated today that the conversation between him and US President Donald Trump last week was better than expected and that there should be new conversations between the two governments this week.

What happened

“He didn’t paint chemistry, he painted a petrochemical industry”, joked Lulaat an event in Rio de Janeiro. He made reference to the North American’s speech during the UN General Assembly (United Nations), at the end of September, when the two met for the first time.

The two spoke for 30 minutes on the phone. “He (Trump) called me, I said: ‘President, I wanted to establish a conversation without liturgy. I’m turning 80 today. You’re going to be 80 on June 14th. It means I’m eight months older than you, so let’s talk to you, without liturgy'”, he said.
