Flávio Bolsonaro saying that “it has a price” reveals blackmail, says Lindbergh

Federal deputy Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ), one of the government’s deputy leaders in the Chamber of Deputies, minimized the results of the Datafolha survey released this Saturday, 11, and said he believes in the re-election of president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

“Indeed, this will be a decisive election for the future of our country, but I am convinced that Lula will be re-elected. The survey is a snapshot of the moment, and the campaign hasn’t even started yet. When the campaign starts, we will show who is who”, wrote Lindbergh, on the social network X.

The PT member also criticized measures taken by the previous government and praised the current administration’s performance. “When the campaign starts in earnest, the truth will win over fake news,” he wrote.

The parliamentarian added: “I am sure that Flávio Bolsonaro’s candidacy cannot be sustained, especially when he comes face to face with a statesman, a person of President Lula’s stature.”

The poll showed that Lula was numerically surpassed for the first time by senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) in voting intentions for president in the second round. The PT member has 45%, against 46% for the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
