Student is stabbed and dies in athletics competition; Suspect is arrested

A 17 -year -old student was arrested yesterday suspected of stabbing and killing another 17 -year -old student in Texas. They participated in an athletics championship.

What happened

The two students were involved in a fight during an athletic championship. There is no information on what motivated the discussion among students. Around 10am (local time, 12 noon in Brasilia), 17 -year -old Karmelo Anthony stabbed Austin Metcalf, 17.

Police and firefighters were called on the scene. Despite attempts to save Austin’s life, he could not resist his injuries and died.
