Alcolumbre convenes Congress session on the 5th to vote on LDO
The president of Congress, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), confirmed this Wednesday the call, for the end of Thursday morning, of a joint session to analyze the draft Budgetary Guidelines Law (LDO) of 2026, reported the Agência Câmara de Notícias.
The project, however, still needs to be analyzed by the Mixed Budget Committee (CMO), which ended its meeting this Wednesday without completing the analysis of the LDO proposal.

Also according to Agência Câmara de Notícias, Alcolumbre stated that he and the president of the Chamber, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), have been working with members of the CMO and leaders to align the processing of the proposal and the 2026 Budget Law project.
