The daughter of Louis Roberto Barroso, president of the Supreme Court, does not live in the United States or will be deported, as suggested by pockets on social networks. The false statement began to circulate after the revocation of US visas from part of the STF ministers and their families.

What happened

Lawyer Luna Van Brussel Barroso, Barroso’s daughter, studied in the United States between 2022 and 2023. Graduated in Law from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, he graduated at the University of Yale, Connecticut.

Today Luna lives in Brazil. Works at BFBM -Pbarroso Fontelles, Barcellos, Mendonça Advogados, in which his father acted before becoming a minister, and is a doctoral student in Constitutional Law at the University of São Paulo.
