Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) countered the criticism that the governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema (Novo), made him in an interview with Estadão/Broadcast Published last Monday, 21. The parliamentarian said on Wednesday, 23, that the miner is defending “his financial elite gang” by criticizing the tax announced by US President Donald Trump to Brazilian products.

In the interview in Chat with Editorthe governor of Minas Gerais stated that Eduardo created a “problem” to the Brazilian right by articulating with the president of the United States the imposition of 50% tariffs on imported national products, in an attempt to prevent the arrest of his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

“He (Trump) is even penalizing American companies installed here, Brazilian companies, Brazilian who export to the United States. And really, the position that was adopted by the former president’s son (Eduardo) was not the right one. I think it ended up causing a problem to the right,” Zema said in the interview.
