What is known
Mustafa pointed out that Palestine is willing to “take full responsibility” about the Gaza Strip and stressed that Israel must completely withdraw from the region. He stated that Hamas needs to renounce control over the territory and deliver weapons to Palestinian authority as part of a pacification process.
Palestinian Premier’s request occurs amid increasing international pressure by peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict. The international community continues to closely monitor the advances of negotiations, focusing on the implementation of effective measures to ensure stability in the region.
