Lula: told Trump that, if the ‘Peace Council’ is about Gaza, we will participate
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) stated, this Thursday, the 5th, that he told the president of the United States, Donald Trump, that Brazil will participate in the “Peace Council” created by the republican if the collegiate’s objective is to address the issue of the Gaza Strip.
The statements were made in an interview given to UOL News.
“I told President Trump that, if the Council is to take care of Gaza, Brazil has every interest in participating. Now, it is very strange that you create a council and you don’t have a Palestinian heading that council”, declared the president.
