The Ministry of Justice received on the 27th a letter from the United States Government about the performance of Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF). According to the folder, the document was sent to the sector responsible for the analysis.

According to The New York Times, the United States Department of Justice sent a letter to Moraes after the magistrate’s order for the American social network to block a user profiles. The vehicle said it had access to the document.

The message was sent to the minister this May. “The Justice Department told Minister Moraes that he could apply the laws in Brazil, but could not order companies to take specific measures in the United States,” the American vehicle wrote. The newspaper sought a spokeswoman for Moraes, but she declined to comment.

Alexandre de Moraes is the target of a lawsuit filed by the companies of Trump Media & Amp; Technology Group, led by US President Donald Trump, and the Rumble platform. The companies accuse Moraes of breaking the first amendment of the American Constitution, which deals with freedom of expression, by determining that Rumble removes accounts from Brazilian right -wing influencers.

On Wednesday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that his country will restrict visas to “foreign employees and accomplices in the censorship of Americans.” In an X publication, Rubio said “Americans were fined, harassed, and accused by foreign authorities for exercising their rights of freedom of expression” and, therefore, these people “should not have the privilege of traveling to our country.”

Last week, the Secretary of State had already stated in the US Congress that “there is a great chance” of the US government sanctioning Moraes, who has also conflicted with Elon Musk about X activity in Brazil.
