Oncoclínicas makes an agreement to recover R$478 million from Banco Master
Oncoclínicas, a hospital group specializing in cancer treatment, signed an agreement with Banco Master to rescue the R$478.2 million invested in CDBs from the financial institution, which is going through a financial crisis. Payment will be made in 20 monthly installments, until 2027.
What happened
Oncoclínicas will receive resources invested in the Master in 20 monthly installments. The bank committed to paying the R$478.2 million that the healthcare company has invested in CDBs in installments, paying R$25 million each month, from October 30th until May 2027.
Renegotiation determines the maintenance of the CDBs’ income. In addition to preserving the remuneration of investments during the payment period, the agreement provides that if the Master is obliged, due to other factors, to bring forward these maturities, the amount invested in the CDBs must be paid immediately and in full.
