Police identifies person responsible for shooting and killing Charlie Kirk
Tyler has been “more political” in recent years and commented with family members about Charlie Kirk to Utah shortly before the crime. According to the governor, family members stated that during a family dinner, Robinson said Kirk was “full of hatred and spread hatred.”
Bullet case found with the weapon used in the crime had the phrase: “Hey, fascist, take it!” Said the governor. According to him, two other sentences were found in an unconnected ammunition: “If you are reading this, you are gay” and “Bella Ciao”, an apparent reference to the song of the same name, a resistance anthem against Mussolini fascism in Italy.
Rifle used in the murder was a 30.6 -caliber mauser 98, police said. Among other messages left by Tyler on the weaponry were a sequence up, another to the right and three down, which would be the movements to drop a bomb in a video game game.
The young man sent messages in a group talking about recovering a rifle, governor said. A Tyler’s roommate would have shown the messages to the police. In the conversation, besides mentioning that the gun was in a bush, Robinson stated that she was “unique” and had recorded messages.
Crime weapon, a high power rifle, was found abandoned in forest area. Impressions of a palm and footprints were analyzed by the forensic team and helped identify the suspect.
Author of the crime arrived at the university shortly before noon and used stairs to climb roof, where he shot, according to the FBI. After committing the crime, he mixed himself with students and managed to escape the scene.
