President of Indonesia thanks Brazil for support for the country's membership in Brics

The president of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, thanked this Thursday, 23rd, Brazil’s support for the country’s accession to Brics, during a statement to the press alongside president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), in Jakarta.

For Subianto, Indonesia’s entry into the bloc reflects the “strategic and trusting relationship” between the two countries.

The Indonesian leader recalled his visit to Brazil in July and highlighted that the meetings with Lula have been “intense and productive”.
