Salto: Musk only made bullshit in Trump management and suffers consequences on the skin

Last week, Trump announced a global tax on import taxes, with Brazilian products being taxed in at least 10%. China products rates can reach up to 145%. The date was appointed by the Republican as the “Liberation Day.”
Other blocks and nations – as Canada and the European Union – reacted with retaliation to the United States. After pressure from scholarships and investors, Trump retreated and fixed the 10% rate for countries, except for the Chinese, for a period of 90 days.
The imposed tariffs did not please Musk, head of Doge (Department of Government Efficiency) in Trump’s management. He has business in China, Tesla’s second largest market – a musk companies – with 35% of all sales worldwide. On social networks, Musk called Peter Navarro, considered the president’s right -hand man for economic affairs, “asshole.”
To the Facto News channelSalto explained that measures taken by the US should generate more inflation to Americans.
We have a kind of new world, but based on a US -announced, almost mercantilist policy. It is based on the idea that the United States can no longer have commercial deficit with anyone. Which is very curious, because the American economy has had a prosperity, growth, an increase in productivity very well founded in the last five decades, at least.
Now, all this changes. The only certainty we have right now is that, taking exhaustion, this ‘tariff’ policy will produce more inflation for Americans. This is a first conclusion that, perhaps, no economist at this time disagrees. Felipe Salto, Facto News columnist
