Venezuela announces patrolling in the Caribbean after US military displacement
Venezuela reported on Tuesday that it will patrol with drones and navy ships its territorial waters, amid a new tension with the United States, which also announced a military displacement in the South Caribbean.
The Venezuelan authorities had already informed, the day before, the mobilization of 15,000 staff for the Colombia border also for anti -drug operations, while the government of Nicolás Maduro denounces as a “climb of hostile actions” to American movement.
Donald Trump’s administration, in turn, maintains that it will perform operations against international drug trafficking, not at any time the possibility of invading Venezuela.
