Plane makes emergency landing in Japan after fire principle
Two people seem to have suffered minor injuries after United Airlines flight 32 to Cebu, in the Philippines, made an emergency landing at an airport in the city of Osaka, western Japan, on Friday night (local time), Kyodo news agency said.
The Boeing 737 aircraft from Narita Airport, near Tokyo, made an emergency landing at Kansai International Airport after 7 pm, after a cargo fire indicator was activated while flying over the Pacific Ocean, public broadcaster NHK said.
A total of 142 passengers and members of the crew on board left the aircraft using the emergency slides, Kyodo said.
