Tarcísio opens more than 20 points before Haddad and Alckmin in the 2nd round in SP, says research

Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) beats any candidate in a possible second round and wins re-election by the government of the State of São Paulo. This is what the most recent Paraná Pesquisas survey, released this Wednesday (11), points out.

At this point in the electoral race, Tarcísio would easily win a dispute in the second round against the main opposition names by more than 20 percentage points. Against Fernando Haddad (PT), he would have 58.7% of the valid votes compared to 32.4% for the current Minister of Finance, according to the survey.

Haddad is tipped by Lula to run for governor of the state, considered a key federative unit for this year’s presidential election. In previous statements, the minister had already shown a lack of interest in contesting the election, but stated that the final decision will be up to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
