Fábio Porchat mocks the project at Alerj that declares him persona non grata
Actor and comedian Fábio Porchat mocked this Thursday afternoon (14) the approval by the CCJ (Constitution and Justice Commission) of Alerj (Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro) of the project that declares persona non grata. In a video published on his Instagram profile, Porchat said that the fact is a “pride”.
In the images, the comedian appears crying with emotion and states that he just found out that the project had been approved by the CCJ. “I have more than 20 years of career, I have already won awards, but I could never imagine that I would reach this place. Deputy upset with me? It is a business that fills my chest with pride”, he said.

Still in a joking tone, Fábio Porchat takes the opportunity to criticize the actions of Rio de Janeiro’s legislators: “The deputies who could be debating public security in Rio, (…) could be behind the militia, trying to bring basic sanitation to the communities, but…”.
He also remembers the names of politicians who, despite having been criminally convicted of serious crimes, did not receive the same treatment. He mentions former deputy Flordelis, convicted of the murder of her husband, pastor Anderson do Carmo, and the brothers Chiquinho and Domingos Brazão, considered to have ordered the death of councilor Marielle Franco and her driver Anderson Gomes.
Finally, Porchat remembers that the project still needs to be approved in the Alerj plenary: “I need 41 votes, here is my appeal. (…) Give me this chance, I promise I will do it justice. (…) I want to go where no comedian has ever gone before”.
The project that declares Fábio Porchat as persona non grata was presented by deputy Rodrigo Amorim (PL). It was approved on Wednesday (13) at the CCJ by 4 votes to 2.
The parliamentarian’s justification is the actor’s position on social media. Amorim brought together excerpts from interviews and humor sketches in which the artist states that religious people cannot interfere in the life of society based on their beliefs. The video also shows a scene in which Porchat interprets a call to former president Jair Bolsonaro’s team and swears.
