BySimon Rousseau Posted onFebruary 2, 2025 7:30 am
Dollar fall could be interrupted by unfounded tax rumors, says Haddad

Finance Minister Fernando Haddad greeted the new Senate presidents, David Alcolumbre (Union-AP), and the House, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), and classified parliamentarians as “people with the willingness to contribute to our country” .

In a post on the social network, the minister also took the opportunity to thank the now former presidents Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) and Arthur Lira (PP-AL) “for the leadership in seeking convergences that allowed the country to move forward”.

Earlier, Alcolumbre said he had an excellent relationship with Haddad and defended the minister’s performance.
