Rescued were taken to the local detention center. I’m feeling the happiest man in the world. I thought I couldn’t see my son anymore, but thank God, we got it.
Antonio Carlos Ferreira, Phelipe’s father
Rescue was not supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Brazilian Embassy, according to family members. “The merit of the rescue was all from the NGO (Exodus). The (Brazilian) embassy only waited for the goodwill of the Mianmar authorities, who would do nothing. They already knew where they were and had to press more, but did not do Nothing. Who pressed was the NGO, “says Antonio, Phelipe’s father.
Sought by Facto News, Itamaraty has not yet returned. The text will be updated with any manifestations of the folder and more information about the rescue.
Remember the case
