Michelle Bolsonaro calls Mauro Cid "mentally disturbed"

Former Ladyman Michelle Bolsonaro said on Friday (21) that Mauro Cid, a former manner of orders of her husband, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), features “mental disorders.”

The statement occurs one day after the release of the Videos of the Delation of the former Lieutenant Colonel and collaborator of the Justice.

Despite criticism of the former ally, Michelle also proved to be “quiet” regarding the report of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), which places her husband at the center of an alleged attempted coup d’état of 2022, along with 33 people.

The former first lady spoke after the PL communication seminar in Brasilia and was asked about Cid’s allegations, which implies her in a “radical” wing of the Bolsonaro government.

She mocked the accusations, stating, “Look at my face.” Cid, in his denunciation, stated that Michelle, along with other allies, would have instigated the former president to try to prevent the inauguration of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT).

The former order of orders also mentioned that the former president’s most radical allies group, made up of figures such as former ministers Onyx Lorenzoni and Gilson Machado, Senator Jorge Seiff and Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, as well as General Mario Fernandes, He tried to convince Bolsonaro to promote a coup d’état. According to the denunciation, Michelle was involved in these efforts.

On Tuesday (18), PGR denounced Jair Bolsonaro and 33 people for involvement in an alleged scam plan.

Although Michelle and the former president’s children were cited by Cid, the Federal Police investigation did not find enough elements to indict the former first lady or the deputy. The position was followed by PGR.

In a statement to the Federal Police, Cid stated that Michelle and Eduardo pressured Bolsonaro, claiming that he would have popular support and groups of hunters and snipers (CACS) to remain in power.

However, PF Director-General Andrei Rodrigues clarified that the summons was not sufficient to substantiate an indictment, noting that the investigation did not find enough evidence to incriminate the two.
