Alexandre Silveira: ‘Brazil is growing, yes, and we will not give in to speculation’

Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, said on Tuesday, 11, that the country’s GDP growth has surprised pessimistic analyzes. “Brazil is growing, yes, and we will not give in to the speculation of the few,” said the minister.

Saying that the growth of 3.5% exceeded pessimistic expectations, Silveira went to the governor of the state of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, who had spoken minutes earlier.
