Small plane crashes and hits home in the US; at least one person died
A small plane crashed today in Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis suburb in Minnesota, USA, and killed one person.
What happened
The fall occurred around 12:20 pm (2:20 pm in Brasilia). The plane had departed from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was going to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis, when the crash occurred, according to FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
In the fall, the aircraft hit a residence. The impact started a fire on the spot. The residents were not injured, said Brooklyn Park firefighters, Shawn Conway. The property, however, was destroyed.
